Pictures and Videos of Previous Events Confirmation Commitment Mass and Sponsor Session
On Sunday, November 24, 2013, St. Tarcissus had a Commitment Mass for the Students preparing for Confirmation at the 9:30 am. After Communion, Mr. Rich Krzmien (7th grade religion teacher for St. Tarcissus School) and Mrs. Liz Stasiowski (8th grade catechist for the St. Tarcissus religious education program) called the names of each student preparing for Confirmation. Each student received a copy of the bible and a special blessing from Fr. Mike Leonard.
After Mass the students and their sponsors attended a class with Fr. Terry Deffenbaugh. Father Terry talked to the sponsors about what it means to be a “Confirmation Sponsor” and how they are to be the students’ consciences forever (even after Confirmation).
