Scripture Foundations – a Catholic View of the Bible

St. Tarcissus Parish will sponsor a series of talks on the Bible on Monday evenings during June. We are very fortunate to welcome Rita Lambert who will present this very informative series on the Bible. The Bible can be one of the most misunderstood topics in any church. Rita will help you find a new understanding and appreciation for Sacred Scripture.

Whether you know very little about the Bible or have been studying it for years this interactive series will help you gain new insights to scripture. You are invited to bring your favorite Bible to the talks.

The series will be held on Monday evenings in June at 7 pm in the Parish Rectory. Save the dates - June 3, June 10, June 17 and June 24 - as you will not want to miss any of the sessions. The talks are open to all adults (high school age and over). You are welcome to attend all or as few as one of the talks.

Rita Lambert and Deacon Tom Lambert are a Deacon couple here in the Archdiocese of Chicago. They are currently at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Chicago. Rita has worked for many years in spiritual direction and formation in several parishes and is a graduate of the Chicago Catholic Scripture School (of the Archdiocese).
