Driving Ministry

Two of our parishioners, Marilyn McGlade and Dolores Fallon have recently started a new ministry here at St. Tars to help the home-bound. It is so new it doesn't yet have an official name. For now, we are referring to it as the Driving Ministry.

There are two parts to the Ministry:

1. Marilyn oversees occasional visits to those who have need of company because they seldom have visitors,
2. Dolores organizes rides to the doctor, church, shopping, etc. for those who are unable to get to these necessities any other way or to run essential errands for those who are not able to get out at all.

If you or someone you know in the parish needs transportation for any of the above-mentioned activities or an occasional visit from a trusted parishioner, please contact the rectory office at 773-763-8228 and your request will be forwarded to either Marilyn or Dolores.
