The St. Tarcissus Parish Pastoral Council, or PPC, is an advisory board made up of the pastor, two staff members and ten parishioners. This board exists as the result of Vatican II, Canon Law and Archdiocesan policy. It exercises a shared responsibility for the pastoral life of the parish under the leadership of the pastor. The PPC meets on the third Monday of each month (except July) at 7:30 pm in the lower level of the rectory.

Its purpose is to prayerfully engage the people and the pastor in common reflection about the parish mission. It accomplishes this goal by: researching the needs of the faith community, encouraging and supporting existing ministries, evaluating the quality of life within the faith community, and by planning for the future of the parish - by recommending policies, programs and procedures that will help to implement its values and the mission of the parish and the greater church.

Representatives on the PPC board represents a commission. To better acquaint you with the workings of the PPC (Parish Pastoral Council), it is our intent to focus on one group (Commission) at a time.
