Prayer Shawl Ministry What is a Prayer Shawl Ministry? The Prayer Shawl Ministry consists of caring people who meet to pray while knitting or crocheting shawls made for those who need comforting in times of sickness, death and celebration. Prayer shawls surround the recipient in prayer, beauty, peace and love. We invite anyone that may be interested in this ministry to join us. This is a wonderful prayer community of ladies who feel the call to share the gift of their hands. Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month in the lower level of Parish Center (enter through the side door off of the courtyard - there is a sign for the Claret Center). We will meet in Monday, February 20 at 7 pm in the lower level of the Parish Center (Convent). Please note that for the month of February, the Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on the 3rd (not the 4th) Monday (February 20th) at 7 pm in the convent basement so as not to conflict with the Parish Mission. We have had some stunning blankets and shawls lovingly made since our last meeting. Come and see them and join us for an evening of fellowship and yarncrafting.
