2007-08 School Year

We have chosen a name for ourselves.  After days of discussion, we have voted, and by majority vote, have chosen "The Rubber Duckies" as our class name.   Our motto is "We really quack  ourselves up."

     Our Homeroom parents are Mrs. Katie McKenna and Mrs. Mariella Schultz. They will continue planning more celebrations and activities for this year.  We welcome help from all parents.

     On Friday, April 4, the third graders went on a field trip to spend two hours in a log cabin at The Grove.  The children performed many activities that children in the 1800's performed.  On Friday April 25 the children went to the Copernicus Theatre to see the play, "The Mystery of King" Tut".   These field trips were intended to enrich their understanding of their Social Studies lessons.

     Our Third Graders will be performing plays for family and the school on Tuesday, June 3, at 8:45 in the school auditorium.  After the performances families are invited to join us at a picnic at Rosedale Park.  Let's hope for good weather!
