Please Note

Please help us keep track of your child's belongings. Please clearly mark backpacks, coats, jackets, etc... Many of the children cannot identify their own clothes and mistakenly take take someone else's home or lose their own. Also, please be sure that their clothes are washable and allow for self-dressing. We do messy projects. Please leave umbrellas at home -- they are dangerous in the classroom. Rain coats are preferable. Thanks for your cooperation.

Making Friends

We hope your child is enjoying school and making new friends. It can be difficult at first negotiating all the changes that come with being in school. Please be patient and fell free to contact me if you have questions about your child's progress.

Reminder

If your child is going to be picked up by someone other than the usual parent/guardian, please notify us in writing. Even if the person is on the authorized list in the office, we need to know this information in the classroom too. This is for the safety of your child. Thank you!

The folders should come to school empty unless you are sending information to the teachers/school office. Please check your child's folder every night for information from the teacher/school office.
